3. Description of Services
KLO Bookkeeping provides professional bookkeeping and accounting services including but not limited to general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable processing, bank and credit card reconciliation, payroll processing, financial statement preparation, and tax preparation support.
The specific services to be provided, along with the associated fees, timeline, and deliverables, will be detailed in an Engagement Letter executed between the Company and the Client prior to the commencement of services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services with reasonable notice to affected Clients.
It is the Clients responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and timely financial information and documentation necessary for us to perform the Services. We rely on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide and are not responsible for errors or omissions resulting from inaccurate or incomplete Client Data.
4. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to provide the Services effectively, you agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate, and timely financial records, statements, receipts, invoices, and other documentation as reasonably requested.
- Grant us access to your accounting software, bank accounts, and other financial platforms as necessary for the performance of our services, subject to read-only or appropriate permission levels.
- Review financial reports and statements we prepare and notify us of any discrepancies or concerns within a reasonable timeframe.
- Respond to our inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner to avoid delays in service delivery.
- Maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials or access methods we provide you.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax requirements relevant to your business operations.
Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in delays, additional fees, or our inability to complete the Services as agreed.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees for our Services will be specified in the Engagement Letter applicable to your engagement. Unless otherwise stated in the Engagement Letter, the following terms apply:
- Fees are billed on a monthly basis in advance, due upon receipt of invoice.
- Payment is accepted via bank transfer, check, or other methods agreed upon in writing.
- Late payments may incur interest at the rate of one and one-half percent per month or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services if payment is more than thirty days past due.
- Fees are non-refundable except as expressly provided in the Engagement Letter.
- We may adjust our fees with thirty days written notice to you. Continued use of our Services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the adjusted fees.
6. Intellectual Property
The Website and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by KLO Bookkeeping, LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Website for your personal or internal business purposes.
